Join us for a Q&A screening with director Noel Smyth and Perth Camino walker Sue Morris who will share their experiences on this uplifting and inspirational story on Friday 2 August following the 6.30pm session at Luna Leederville. The evening will be hosted by Christian Horgan.
A story about life, live and loss on the Camino De Santiago
“Few people know how to take a walk. The qualifications are endurance, plain clothes, old shoes, an eye for nature, good humour, vast curiosity, good speech, good silence and nothing too much.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Exploring themes of spirituality, well-being and religion, this is the inspirational journey of six strangers from New Zealand and Australia, including Perth veteran walker Sue Morris, walking the 800km Camino de Santiago to overcome the personal and physical trauma that life has dealt them.
Through blisters, shin splints and heat, the Camino forces pilgrims to defy their age and physical ability, while also acting as a catalyst for change. Both heart-breaking and inspirational, CAMINO SKIES is an uplifting story about everyday people doing the extraordinary.
