PSYCHO (M)

Janet Leigh is an embezzler on the run who ends up at a hotel run by Anthony Perkins and his mysterious mother.
Need a shower, anyone?

Phoenix secretary Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), is on the run after stealing $40,000 from her employer to elope with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis (John Gavin).

Whilst fleeing, Marion is overcome with exhaustion during a heavy rainstorm. Travelling on the back roads to avoid the police, she stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung proprietor Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), a young man with an interest in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother.

"Psycho is that rarest of beasts - it's both art and entertainment. It's also Hitchcock's best film." –  ABC Radio (Australia).

Alfred Hitchcock Double

"Timeless classic. Superb performances and the infamous shower scene make this the perfect nightmare." - Empire.

FRENZY (M)

Generally considered Hitchcock’s last great film: a genuine thriller filled with dark humour, twists and sheer
suspense. Hitch films in London after spending 22 years in the US

Film historian Arthur Knight, professor of cinema at the University of South California,  wrote to Hitchcock to say: "In all seriousness, I feel that this is your best work ... since North by Northwest."

In May 1972,  Frenzy screened at Cannes out of competition — where it was immediately hailed as a late-career masterpiece
