Self-funded, made entirely during a pandemic and shot in the sleepy coastal town of Albany, Western Australia, independent feature Edward and Isabella is making waves around the world.
A young couple get away to the country to decide whether to stay together or end their relationship. Edward and Isabella is Morris's first feature film starring Chloe Hurst (The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling and I Feel Pretty with Amy Schumer). The film has drawn comparisons to Alexander Payne's Sideways, Antonioni's L'avventura and Bruce Beresford's Tender Mercies.

"Edward and Isabella delivers an intimate, raw character study free of pretension and distraction". FilmInk
“I found the two central characters absolutely captivating. It’s hard to believe Edward and Isabella is written, produced and directed by a first-time feature filmmaker, and the two lead performances from Chloe Hurst and Daniel Barwick are truly world class.” Matthew Eeles, Cinema Australia
Check out Dash Wilson's fantastic article in Australian Cinematographer Magazine about the film, featuring an interview with director Adam Morris.
