With the recent cancellation decisions made by the National Theatre in London and the cancellation of the season overnight by the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the restriction to 100 capacity - Sharmill Films have had to make the difficult decision to postpone upcoming productions.
This will impact our scheduled April releases of Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess (4 April) and NT Live’s Cyrano de Bergerac (18 April). Additionally, the Met has now, unfortunately, had to cancel the remainder of the season.
The National Theatre currently remains closed until further notice.
We very much look forward to delivering Cyrano de Bergerac, Porgy and Bess and more to our loyal and hugely valued National Theatre Live and Met Opera patrons at a future date.
