Clare (Rose Riley) is an addict in recovery when her mother’s sudden death upends her carefully rebuilt life. Returning to her hometown, she reconnects with her teenage sweetheart, Jerry (George Mason) — the one person she’s never been able to forget.

Fifteen years after a tragic accident tore them apart, they’re given a second chance at love. But as old feelings resurface, so do long-buried traumas. Clare’s sobriety is tested, and a dark, demonic force begins to emerge — one determined to take control.

“Up until about two years ago, I hated horror,” says producer Kate Separovich. “Now, I’m a huge fan.”

Sepacovich found her way into genre filmmaking when writer-director Miley Tunnecliffe pitched her three projects: a romantic comedy, an indie drama, and a horror film. Expecting to choose the rom-com, Separovich instead connected deeply with the horror concept-which became this film.

What followed was a transformative three-year journey into the world of horror: exploring its subgenres, discovering personal tastes, and embracing the emotional power at the heart of great genre storytelling.
