Luna On SX

Nestled in the laneway between Norfolk and Essex Street, Luna on SX is a bohemian little picture house servicing the free spirits of Fremantle with quality arthouse and independent cinema.

Rubbing shoulders with Fremantle's trendiest bars, restaurants, music venues, and galleries, Luna on SX is an important part of the rich cultural hub that makes up the port city. The cinema plays host to the Biennial Fremantle Design Film Festival, as well as a range of Special Events throughout the year, including the Metropolitan Opera and National Theatre Live broadcasts. We offer a special ticket rate of $19.50 for subscribers and members of Artsource, Fremantle Arts Centre, MosArts, and many more, as a part of our ongoing commitment to fostering the arts.

Visiting is easy. There is paid parking next to the cinema, with additional parking and plenty of bike racks located around the corner on Marine Terrace. The cinema is also a mere five-minute walk down Market Street from the Fremantle Train Station.
