The Voice of Hind Rajab In Conversation Event

THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB PANEL DISCUSSION EVENT:

Join us for this special screening of the Academy Award® nominated film The Voice of Hind Rajab, followed by an in conversation with Dr. Mo Mustafa, a Palestinian-Australian Emergency Physician Trainee who is a PCRF Australia Ambassador (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund) and has firsthand experience responding to medical crises affecting children in Gaza.

January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A six-year-old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab. 

As complications continue to arise, the situation becomes increasingly more difficult, and responders are forced to juggle protocol, panic, and moral urgency while trying to comfort Hind amongst negotiating an impossible reality.

Nominated for an Academy Award® (Best International Feature) and winner of the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at Venice Film Festival, Kaouther Ben Hania’s THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB is a moving drama that incorporates real audio from the emergency call.
