Brunello, il visionario garbato
From Academy Award® winning director Giuseppe Tornatore (Cinema Paradiso, Ennio) and scored by Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani (Life is Beautiful), this inspirational documentary delivers an intimate portrait of the life and career of Brunello Cucinelli, a fashion entrepreneur with a humanistic philosophy, who rose from humble rural origins to become celebrated as “The King of Cashmere”.
Blending classic documentary and cinematic fiction styles, Brunello: The Gracious Visionary retraces the key places and moments in Cucinelli's life, from his childhood in the countryside village of Solomeo, in rural Perugia, to the founding of his company in 1978, and reaching the heights of success as a fashion luminary.
Featuring testimonials, archival footage and intimate recollections from Brunello himself, Tornatore highlights the power of dreams and reveals the extraordinary journey a man who, from humble beginnings, built a world-renowned company and luxury fashion empire while maintaining strong values of dignity, artistry and social justice.
