When the technology is stolen, reality and dreams begin to merge in chaotic and surreal ways. Dr. Atsuko Chiba transforms into her dream-world alter ego, Paprika, to navigate this fantastical realm, unravel the mystery, and save both the waking world and the subconscious from collapse.

On a cold Christmas Eve in Tokyo, three unlikely companions- Hana, a tough but kind-hearted middle-aged man; Gin, a sarcastic former drag queen; and Miyuki, a rebellious teenage runaway - stumble upon an abandoned baby wrapped in a blanket.
