Synopsis

Regular Rev attendees will recall Director Christopher Bickel’s Bad Girls which screened at the festival in 2021. Now Bickel, a master of ultra-low budget genre movies, returns with his best feature yet, the multi award winning Pater Noster and the Mission of Light.

Following hip record store sales assistant Max, who finds an ultra-rare album, the movie follows as the twenty-something and her friends follow their fandom into a far darker place as they journey through rock and roll to a seventies hippie commune and am unimaginable darkness!

If you’re looking for everything hip in culture and cinema, this baby’s got it – tattoos, records, Super 8, cassettes, 8 tracks, muscle cars, Cramps-type styling, pot – you name it, it’s here.

A gleeful celebration of vinyl, music, religious and body horror!
