In partnership with PCRF Australia (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund), join us for this special fundraiser screening of Until The Sky Falls Quiet, followed by a conversation with Dr. Mo Mustafa (PCRF ambassador) and a select panel of guests live in cinema.
Like The Voice of Hind Rajab , Until The Sky Falls Quiet is based on true events.
International media is not permitted to enter Gaza independently. To show the world what they are bearing witness to, humanitarian aid workers have taken on the roles of both aid worker and reporter...many have forced themselves to step into the media spotlight to amplify the truth of Palestinian journalists and show what is happening to the Palestinians.
They record the unthinkable while rendering aid, between surgeries, on little to no sleep, while carrying grief most of us cannot imagine.
The filmmakers were compelled to make this documentary so the world could also bear witness to what is happening in Gaza. This is a record of humanity in the face of atrocity and man-made deprivation.
It is our responsibility not to look away. Our responsibility is to keep making noise and to keep fighting for humanity.
This documentary feature focuses on two Australian doctors, Dr Siraj Sira and Dr Sanjay Adusumilli, who volunteered to go on a medical mission to Gaza.
Filmed in real time with most of the footage captured by the doctors themselves, Until the Sky Falls Quiet is a rare and personal record of resilience, loss, and the human cost of bearing witness in the world’s largest ‘open air prison’.
This event is a fundraiser for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF); a portion of ticket sales will go to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund and Global Medical Foundation Australia.
