Synopsis

Q&A Screening

Sunday, September 6
Luna Leederville

When Australian veteran Andy Fermo returned home from war, the conflict didn't end.

Living with PTSD, he faced invisible wounds that reshaped his identity, strained his relationships and changed the fabric of family life. The battlefield had followed him home, affecting how he parented, slept, communicated and searched for a sense of safety.

Invisible Injuries is an intimate and powerful exploration of the hidden cost of trauma and the resilience required to heal. It is a story of life beyond survival—of navigating PTSD, rebuilding relationships and rediscovering connection with self, family and community.
