After #MeToo broke the cultural silence on gendered violence, survivors swiftly found themselves facing a new kind of silencing and fear as defamation laws became weaponised by alleged perpetrators against women for speaking out.

In the wake of this defamation avalanche, international human rights lawyer and free speech defender Jennifer Robinson is fighting for the rights of victims of gender violence to tell their story. Robinson takes audiences inside the courtroom and behind the headlines to reveal how the legal system is used to discredit, re-victimise and financially ruin survivors.
