Synopsis

Two Cornetto classics: zombie chaos and small-town secrets unfold with bloody hilarious consequences in this double bill from Edgar Wright.

SHAUN OF THE DEAD (2004) | MA

Shaun (Simon Pegg) is a down-on-his-luck electronics store employee whose life is going nowhere. He spends most of his time at the local pub with his best friend, Ed (Nick Frost), much to the frustration of his girlfriend, Liz (Kate Ashfield). Just as Shaun decides to turn his life around, a zombie apocalypse breaks out in London. Unfased, Shaun devises a haphazard plan to rescue Liz, his mother, and his friends, and take them to the safest place he knows: the pub. As they navigate through hordes of the undead, Shaun must confront his personal shortcomings and rise to the occasion to protect his loved ones.

HOT FUZZ (2007) | MA

Top London cop Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is so good at his job that he makes his colleagues look bad. As a result, he's reassigned to the sleepy village of Sandford, where his relentless dedication to duty seems out of place. Partnered with the bumbling but well-meaning local officer Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), Angel struggles to adapt to the town's quiet life. However, a series of gruesome accidents and suspicious deaths soon reveal a darker side to Sandford.
