Los Tigres
An expansive maritime thriller from award winning director Alberto Rodríguez (Prison 77, Marshland), The Tigers stars Antonio de la Torre (The Candidate, The Movie Teller) and Bárbara Lennie (The Girls are Alright) as two siblings who work as industrial divers on the coast of Huelva.
The relationship between siblings Antonio and Estrella is complex. Estrella had to sacrifice her professional dreams and take care of their ill father, while Antonio has become renowned as a great diver. Now, after risking their lives for decades as experts in this dangerous profession, they are on the edge of financial ruin and the future looks complicated.
When they unexpectedly discover a crime and its proceeds hidden in the hull of a freighter ship anchored in the port, Antonio and Estrella seize their chance to change their situation. But with high reward comes high risk and together they must put their skills and expertise to the test, in what may be their last job under the sea.
