Such a Resounding Silence (Un Silence) is a powerful and inspiring French film with actor/producer Emmanuelle Béart that confronts the taboo subject of incest showcasing the incredible resilience & courage of survivors. Through intimate interviews, symbolic animation, captivating photography, and evocative music, the film sensitively portrays their moving stories, offering hope, empowerment and healing.

By addressing this hidden reality, this film breaks down barriers and encourages open conversations about the lifelong trauma caused by silence, denial, shame, guilt, and betrayal. It seeks to engage a broad audience—those willing to listen, confront this pervasive issue, and support survivors on their journey toward healing.
