REV25: SCARLET BLUE
Book Tickets
Synopsis
Scarlet Blue is a bold, fever-dream descent into the fractured psyche of Alter, a woman in her 40s tormented by an invisible illness that is slowly consuming her from the inside.
Following a suicide attempt, she begins therapy with the enigmatic Léandro Lecreulx, a hypnotist who guides her through a hallucinatory journey into buried childhood trauma.
As Alter spirals deeper into her subconscious, she unearths a long-concealed secret about her mother—one that shatters everything she thought she knew.
A kaleidoscopic fusion of horror, sci-fi, and surrealist fantasy, Scarlet Blue pushes narrative boundaries and embraces a daring visual language that’s as disorienting as it is mesmerising.
Queer trauma, identity, and generational pain pulse through a stylized world untethered from conventional reality.
At times confounding, often mesmerising, and always provocative, the film leans into a symbolic, almost operatic mode of storytelling.
While its abstract structure and surreal visuals may challenge linear expectations, Scarlet Blue is an unforgettable, visceral experience for audiences willing to surrender to its hypnotic rhythm.
A cinematic acid trip—daring, divisive, and utterly unique.
