Synopsis

This outrageously vulgar Norwegian animated musical comedy is like if Trey Parker and Matt Stone made Inside Out.

In a tale as old as time, teenagers Jens and Lisa are nervously getting ready to have sex for the first time.

Simultaneously, Simen and Cumilla, two of the millions of spermatozoa in Jens’ scrotum, are readying themselves for the gruelling and against-all-odds journey to “nirvana” – to fertilise an egg.

Will Simen or Cumilla make it past the variety of contraceptive barriers in their way and beat the villainous alpha male sperm Jizzmo to the finish line?

Don’t be fooled by the adorable 3D animation, this hilariously crude film isn’t for little kids. Although, its depiction of sexual consent, safe sex practices and reproductive rights are admirably progressive and educational.

Through savvy movie references and Busby Berkeley-style musical numbers, Spermageddon takes aim at everything from masturbation to bowel movements. Leave your shame at the door.
