Synopsis
Teo doesn’t know it but he’s one of the last Thylacines. Found abandoned and wearing a mysterious crystal necklace, he’s adopted by a big, boisterous family of traveling wrestlemania kangaroos and life is pretty great.
But when mysterious visions lead him to a faraway land, Teo is forced to rediscover his roots and embark on an epic journey to save his homeland from impending destruction.
The Lost Tiger is the first animated feature from Australia to be written and directed by an Indigenous woman. Chantelle Murray, who has previously worked on several short films including Shed (2019) and My Name is Mudju (2019) co-wrote and directed the film. An incredible cast of voices, including Rhys Darby (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Celeste Barber (Runt) and Thomas Weatherall (Heartbreak High) brings this animated family adventure to life.
