Reviews
A work of scrupulous precision.
★★★★ With its awe-inspiring attention to detail, deadpan delivery and abundant absurdity, The Phoenician Scheme is unmistakably the work of Wes Anderson.
★★★★ To call The Phoenician Scheme ‘just another Wes Anderson film’ would be to overlook the work of an artist who seems forever fascinated by the dynamics of family... a welcome return to the kind of personal storytelling his fans adore.
A film that reclaims Anderson's visual language with a new sense of purpose and emotional resonance, it's his best work in over a decade.
